A growing number of destination markets now require battery state-of-health documentation for imported used EVs. Sieton Auto has made standardized SOH reports available for every unit.
Battery health transparency is becoming a baseline requirement in the cross-border used EV trade. Several destination markets, including members of the GCC and several Southeast Asian countries, have introduced or announced regulations requiring state-of-health (SOH) documentation for imported used electric vehicles.
In response, Sieton Auto now provides a standardized battery health report for every new energy vehicle in its export inventory, generated through professional diagnostic equipment covering capacity retention, cell consistency, and charge cycle statistics.
The report is presented in a standardized format that allows buyers to compare vehicles objectively, reducing disputes and after-sales uncertainty.
“A used EV without a credible battery report is essentially a sealed box,” noted Sieton’s technical director. “Our goal is to open that box before the transaction, not after.”
All SOH reports are included in the standard 200-point inspection documentation package at no additional cost to buyers.
