Sieton Auto Upgrades Its 200-Point Inspection Standard for Export Vehicles

Sieton Auto announced a comprehensive upgrade to its 200-point inspection standard, effective immediately for all export vehicles processed through its Jiading facility in Shanghai.

The upgraded framework introduces 32 dedicated checkpoints for new energy vehicles, including battery pack health diagnostics, state-of-health (SOH) reporting, charging port and cable inspection, and full ADAS sensor calibration verification.

Every inspection report is now accompanied by standardized photo and video documentation, allowing overseas buyers to review the exact condition of each vehicle before confirming an order.

“Transparency is the foundation of cross-border vehicle trade,” said the head of Sieton Auto’s quality department. “Buyers should be able to see precisely what they are paying for, no matter where they are located.”

The upgraded standard has already been applied to more than 1,200 vehicles this month, with the full digital inspection report available through the Sieton Auto inquiry system.

Sieton Auto Surpasses 10,000 Certified Vehicles Exported Since 2023

Sieton Auto has reached a new milestone: more than 10,000 certified vehicles exported since the export division was formally established in 2023, serving over 600 dealer partners across 45 countries.

The achievement reflects sustained investment in sourcing capability, quality control, and logistics coordination. Key markets include the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and South America, with passenger SUVs and new energy vehicles as the top-selling categories.

Operational reliability has been a differentiator: the division recorded a 98.6% on-time shipping rate in the past 12 months, supported by fixed sailings, dedicated logistics coordinators, and proactive document handling.

“Ten thousand vehicles is not just a number — it represents ten thousand deliveries our partners staked their reputation on,” said the general manager of Sieton Auto. “Our commitment is to keep earning that trust with every shipment.”

The company plans to expand its inspection capacity and open two additional consolidation warehouses in 2027 to support growing order volumes.

Sieton Auto Launches 24/7 Multilingual After-Sales Support for Overseas Dealers

Sieton Auto has launched a 24/7 multilingual after-sales support service for its overseas dealer network, covering English, Russian, Arabic and Spanish across phone, email and instant messaging channels.

The dedicated support team assists dealers with spare parts inquiries, export documentation clarification, vehicle technical questions, and warranty claim processing, with a target first-response time of under two hours.

“A vehicle sale does not end at the port,” said Sieton Auto’s customer service director. “Dealers need a partner who answers the phone at 2 a.m. local time, and that is exactly what this desk is built for.”

The service also includes a curated spare-parts catalog for the most frequently exported models, with express shipping of common wear-and-tear components to regional warehouses.

All active Sieton dealer partners receive access to the support desk automatically, with no additional service fees during the first year of cooperation.

Sieton Auto Opens Dedicated Pre-Delivery Inspection Center in Yiwu

Sieton Auto has opened a dedicated pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and consolidation center in Yiwu, Zhejiang, strategically located near major export logistics hubs.

The 18,000-square-meter facility features 24 inspection bays, an EV battery diagnostic room, photo and video documentation studios, and secured storage for up to 900 vehicles, with a processing capacity of around 600 units per month.

Vehicles passing through the center receive the full Sieton 200-point inspection, professional detailing, and standardized export packaging before being transferred directly to container or ro-ro loading.

Co-locating inspection with consolidation shortens the average order-to-shipment window by an estimated five days and reduces handling-related damage risk.

The Yiwu center is Sieton’s third inspection facility, joining the original Jiading site in Shanghai and a smaller operation serving northern China suppliers.

Sieton Auto Introduces 1-Year Limited Warranty Program for Export Vehicles

Sieton Auto has introduced a 1-year limited warranty program for qualified export vehicles, covering the engine, transmission and, for new energy models, the core electric powertrain components.

The program is backed by a regional spare-parts fund and a standardized claims workflow, allowing dealer partners to resolve covered issues for their end customers without lengthy disputes.

Eligible vehicles must pass the full 200-point inspection, and EVs must present a battery state-of-health report meeting the program’s minimum threshold at the time of shipment.

“Cross-border buyers should not have to choose between price and peace of mind,” said the program’s manager. “The warranty makes certified condition a contractual promise, not a marketing line.”

The program launches initially for dealers in the Middle East, Central Asia and East Africa, with expansion to additional regions planned based on partner uptake.

Sieton Auto Partners with Independent Inspection Firm for Cross-Border Certification

Sieton Auto has signed a cooperation agreement with an independent international vehicle inspection firm to provide optional third-party verification of its export condition reports.

Under the partnership, independent inspectors can re-verify vehicle condition, odometer readings, VIN documentation and EV battery reports, issuing a separate certificate that complements Sieton’s own 200-point inspection.

The dual-report structure is designed for buyers placing large or repeat orders sight-unseen, giving procurement teams an independent trust layer for internal compliance.

Inspections can be booked per vehicle or sampled across batch orders, with results delivered digitally alongside the standard documentation package.

“Self-certification sets the standard, but independent verification closes the question,” said Sieton’s quality lead. “We welcome dealers auditing our process — confidence is the product.”
