In the current turbulent new energy vehicle market, Chinese brands represented by new car-making forces have risen rapidly and continue to impact the high-end field. Recently, the launch of the "Huawei Series" flagship model Xiangjie S9 has attracted widespread attention in the market. Its intention is clear, that is, to seize the luxury mid-to-large sedan market dominated by traditional luxury brands "BBA" in the past. Before that, NIO ET7, as a pioneer, has occupied a place in this segment. So, what kind of sparks will be produced when Xiangjie S9 meets NIO ET7?

 Xiangjie S9 continues the Hongmeng Zhixing family style in appearance design, and the "human galaxy" design concept runs through the whole vehicle. The front face adopts a closed air intake grille with sharp LED headlights. The through-type headlights are similar to those of the Wenjie M9. Although there is no personalized light language programming, it still creates a strong sense of the future. NIO ET7 was remodeled this year, and the design continues the previous style, which is elegant and sporty. The HarmonyOS 4 smart cockpit system is a major selling point of the new car. The 15.6-inch central control screen has a delicate display effect, smooth operation, and can quickly respond to various commands. If the owner is a Huawei mobile phone user, the interactive experience will be even better. The LCD instrument UI design directly in front of the driver is simple and clear, and various key data of the vehicle are clear at a glance. The interior atmosphere light can be adjusted according to the user's preferences, creating a more "appropriate" in-car atmosphere in different scenes, adding a unique sense of ritual. In addition, the Xiangjie S9 is equipped with a HUAWEI SOUND audio system. The power of 2080W plus up to 23 speakers in the whole car can bring immersive auditory enjoyment to the driver and passengers.

The interior of ET7 adopts NIO NT2.0 design language, creating a simple and bright in-car atmosphere, which is more in line with the aesthetics of young consumers. The 12.8-inch central control display screen in the central control area has good UI design and display effects. Huawei’s ADS3.0 advanced intelligent driving system is the core of the intelligent driving function of the Xiangjie S9. This system is the first to apply an end-to-end new architecture, with many advanced intelligent driving functions such as lateral active safety assistance, accidental accelerator collision prevention, and road adaptive AEB. The functions of parking space to parking space and parking driver also make parking in complex scenes easier and more convenient.

The performance of the NIO ET7 in intelligent assisted driving has reached the mainstream level. The NIO NioPilot assisted driving system can also achieve self-driving capabilities including automatic parking, automatic lane change assistance, and high-precision map automatic driving.

The wheelbase of more than 3 meters provides it with ample driving space. At the same time, the seats are made of Nappa leather. The front seats provide heating, ventilation, massage, memory, lumbar support, 12-way electric adjustment and other functions. The rear seats are equipped with dual zero-gravity seats, a car-mounted cold and warm box and a large-size central armrest screen. In addition, the rear seats of the Enjoy S9 also support optional projection screens, and a 9-inch multimedia control screen is integrated in the central armrest, which can adjust multiple functions including the angle of the projection screen, providing a more comfortable experience for rear passengers. 

 The length, width and height of the Weilai ET7 are 5101mm, 1987mm and 1509mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3060mm. The body data is comparable to the Enjoy S9, and the actual space performance is also excellent. The seats of the whole car are equipped with heating, ventilation and massage functions as standard. The front seats support 14-way electric adjustment, and the rear seats support 27-degree backrest angle adjustment. In addition, in the latest facelift, NIO ET7 has upgraded the comfort of the rear seats. The Ultra four-wheel drive flagship version for comparison has a maximum power of 390kW and a maximum torque of 673Nm, and an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 3.9 seconds. In terms of cruising range, the entire series is equipped with a 100kWh Sanyuanli battery pack as standard. The CLTC cruising range of the Ultra four-wheel drive flagship version is 721 kilometers, which has met the needs of inter-city travel. In terms of chassis, the Touring chassis of the Enjoy S9 adopts a suspension structure with double wishbones in the front and five-links in the rear. The entire series is equipped with air suspension and variable damping shock absorbers as standard, and the driving quality of the whole vehicle is further improved.

The NIO ET7 maintains the consistent tonality of the brand. The entire series is equipped with the same dual-motor four-wheel drive power system, with a maximum power of 480kW, a maximum torque of 850Nm, and an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 3.8s. The performance parameters are better than those of the Enjoy S9. In terms of battery life, the NIO ET7 currently offers two battery specifications, 75kWh and 100kWh, for car owners to choose from. Thanks to the powerful battery replacement mode of the NIO brand, the problem of battery life anxiety of electric car users has been largely solved. At the same time, the battery specifications can be selected on demand in the later stage. For example, when the owner needs to travel long distances, he can switch to a 150kWh ultra-long-range battery pack to achieve a maximum range of more than 1,000 kilometers, meeting the ultra-long battery life requirements in extreme scenarios. In terms of chassis, the front and rear suspensions of the NIO ET7 use five-link independent suspensions, and are equipped with air suspensions and CDC shock absorbers, which can automatically adjust the suspension according to road conditions to improve the driving quality of the vehicle.
